Welsh Food Restaurant is a new feature sat the Mid Wales Autumn Fayre taking place this weekend 29th 30th October, on the Royal Welsh Showground.
Andrew Powell organiser of the Mid Wales Autumn Fayre told Welsh Country:
“I’ve been organising food festivals in Wales for over 20 years and always want to promote artisan Welsh Food. Working alongside Shirley Friend of local catering business Fingers and Forks creating a pop up restaurant at a food festival is an exciting new venture”
The extensive menu for the weekend at the pop up Welsh Food Restaurant uses many ingredients from those exhibiting at the event plus the meat is from the Craft Butchery Team Wales, who are also demonstrating over the weekend.
For the full Welsh Food Restaurant weekend menu see below.
The Mid Wales Autumn Fayre is so much more than just the restaurant. At the heart of the event are 75 artisan food and drink businesses plus 40 artisan craft tradestands.
Add to this what is being called the “Builth Truckfest” with over hundred lorries from all around Wales including some vintage trucks. If it is vintage machinery that is your primary interest then there are many vintage tractors and cars at the event as well.
There is so much to see and enjoy at the Mid Wales Autumn Fayre for all the family which is held at the Royal Welsh Showground over the weekend of the 29th – 30th October.
