Brat: The Highest New UK Entry to the Top 100 of the Worlds 50 Best Restaurants

Brat RestaurantBrat, the open-fired grill restaurant located in Shoreditch, is proud to announce that they have been included in the top 100 of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants as the highest new UK entry to the prestigious collection. The accolade follows Brat’s Michelin-star, awarded quickly after the restaurant first launched on Redchurch Street in 2018, as well as being voted one of London’s best restaurants by the National Restaurant Awards in 2019.

Speaking on the inclusion in World’s 50 Best, Tomos Parry says:

“I am so proud of the team at Brat for achieving this recognition by World’s 50 Best. We could not have done it without our incredible suppliers and the Brat team’s continued integrity, passion, and hard work”.

Brat draws on Head Chef Tomos Parry’s Welsh heritage and influence from the Basque region of Northern Spain and is famed for cooking on an open-fire wood grill. The restaurant’s signature dishes include their whole grilled turbot, spider crab, grilled breads, and the iconic burnt cheesecake, amongst ever-changing seasonal dishes.
